The official Salt Grass Trail Ride website. SGTR is the original and the oldest trail ride that promotes the Houston Livestock Show and RodeoTM. This year’s ride will be on February 22-March 1, 2014.

As always, the trail ride is a the-more-the-merrier event. If you’re interested in joining us, please feel free to peruse this website to learn how. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us!

  3. Good to be back on Salt Grass Trail Ride after a 6 year absence due to health issues. Wagon 9 is the greatest group of people The Beckendorff’s make you feel like family. Nice to see so many of my old friends on the ride. Curtis is doing a great job after taking my place as Safety Boss. I would also like to thank all of those responsible for the recognition as Past Safety Boss and the Top Hand award on Thursday night at the dance and awards ceremony. Hope to see everyone again next year. Congrats on SGT winning Best Trail Ride this year.
